Stony Point Democrats elect new chairman

June
13

The Stony Point Democratic Committee this week elected John Brenner as committee chairman.

Former chairman John Kezek stepped down at the convention last month to run for county legislator representing District 1, challenging incumbent Douglas J. Jobson, a Republican.

During the meeting this week, the committee also nominated Luanne Konopko to run for Town Board seat, filling in Chris Jensen. Jensen was nominated to run for a Town Board seat at the convention but stepped down a week later because of a personal reason.
