New picture, proper heads

The Rockland County Legislature has a new picture up on its Web site with all the legislators and with everyone’s head on his or her own body.
Several media organizations—starting with The Journal News, thank you very much—got a chuckle last week out of a doctored Legislature portrait that had new Legislator Jay Hood Jr.’s head put on former Legislator Roman Rodriguez’s body.

I think the new picture looks nice. It was taken before this week’s Legislature meeting in the new chambers. Everyone’s smiling and most everyone is color coordinated (Ilan Schoenberger and Teddy Dusanenko didn’t get the memo about dark suits!)

I don't see why this is a story? I mean, come on! For a while now, we've read on the passing of some elected officials on the past few years that leave vacancies, or some leave office, etc. So what if before the next election, or before another year, a municipality makes some minor changes to a website photo? Maybe, because it's summer, and like most of us, we take vacations during July or August, that it could be hard to get those 17 individuals, and I counted together easily?
Let's get with it, Journal News. If I wanted to read fluff, I'd read People magazine
