Also, It wont stop a politician from putting a sign on or near your property. And if done, you can take it down. because no law has been broken. But, even though with so many election signs that pop up, no one should tamper with any. My sons had Mr. Darden as a teacher, and from what they've told me, and then through Parent-Teacher meetings with him, if he's as detail oriented and hard working now as he was as an educator, then he makes a great Legislator. I will tell you what a new city police officer once told me. If your tree falls and your neighbor takes a bulldozer to it and pushes back onto you proerty. that person is not doing anything wrong they are just giving you your property back. and at the time I didnt really have a fence in the front of my house. and he said well this gives people permission to walk onto your property... so i had a rustic rail fence put up. Then you have the wonderful state troopers in ramapo giving people tickets for pulling over for Ambulances because only one person did and no one else... so you had to be pulling over to the side for some other reason. It's terrible that all this kind of disrespect has to go on. If they think voters are impressed by a candidate taking down another candidate's sign, they are out of their minds. Legislator Darden must be doing a good job if someone feels threatened by his signs being up. Legislator Darden, don't worry, adults can see through that childishness. I agree. It's election season and campaign signs are a part of that. Legislator Darden is a fine man. Has worked hard as a Legislator and for years as an educator in our local area schools. Let his signs be.
