County looking for input on Wi-Fi

April
11

County officials are holding a meeting from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday to get input from the public on the county’s initiative to create a free wireless network.  The meeting will be held in the Raso Room on the fourth floor of the Palisades Center in West Nyack.Rockland has already contract with Civitium, a consulting firm, to determine whether such a network is feasible. This network would allow free wireless public Internet access anywhere in the county.  The county is also looking for residents and business owners to take an online survey on the wireless network.
