A lighter load

Normally when I go to County Legislature meetings I am given a full arm workout in the form of a hefty stack of papers that make up the agenda and the packet of background paperwork for each item.
Okay—they weren’t that heavy. But the Legislature must have needed some pretty intense staplers for those things. They were thick.
So I was surprised Tuesday when I got my packet. It was very thin, even though I knew it was going to be a doozy of a meeting.
To save on paper the Legislature, at the request of the Environmental Committee, now prints packets using both sides of each sheet of paper.
Kudos guys!
Though I’d still like to see that lean, mean stapling machine…

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, a journalist not proofing his/her work is unforgivable. You "new" it was going to be a doozy of a meeting? I know you didn't mean to type that.
Thanks for catch, Sandy. And no, I didn't mean to type that.
This is a worthwhile blog entry? If they ever complain of clogged HTML's, this would be an example of really what does not have to be submitted via HTML
