Now that the inter office relationships at the RJN are all cleared up here, the answer to the question remains the same:

They are all part and parcel of the Ramapo democrat machine. They assimilate like the ‘borg’. Perhaps, ‘borg’ democrats part of the ‘collective’democrats. (lighten up)

At the end of it all, the still have to do business with each other and make side room deals.

Amy and James, who cares? IT WAS A JOKE THAT HE SAID JAMES WAS MARRIED TO CUTLER. No sense of humor at the JN, no good stories either.

That’s why I canceled my subscription months ago. As for Ramapo Democrats for Change, they are not the official Democratic Committee in Ramapo, or the County for that matter.

No one wants to work with them because they behave like kids, and seem like they need valium and a good shrink and they are just out for Chris St. Lawrence, and anyone who even may GLANCE at the man.

Jonathen – Just clarify, James doesn’t work for Nancy. She works in the Editorial Page/Community Conversation Department, and James works for me in the News Department. Nancy has nothing to do with James’ bread and butter.

Call them democrats. CSL says they aren’t ‘real’ democrats but democrats they are. There is little distinction between them except who wants to be a title holder. All the elected officials ran as democrats on the democrat line last year. All the committee people are democrats who want to select another democrat candidate besides CSL and his slate to run for seats at Ramapo Town Hall. They are neither insurgent, revolutionaries or horse of different color. Its party politics as usual, anti-CSL democrats want to grab power from the pro-CSL democrats.

Dear James,
I didnt mean in the physical sense. It is common knowledge that Steve is married to Nancy (a Leftist liberal like her) I was referring to the second part of paying your bread and butter. Lets not forget that the Town of Ramapo stopped putting their legal notices in the Journal News causing them a loss of money which Preserve Ramapo picked up the tab.
But regardless I appreciate your response!

Marie: what do you expect? if you were married to Nancy Cutler how would you act? probably allot worse then impatient and hot tempered. Lets not forget Preserve Ramapo spent almost $20,000 in advertising to the Journal News, how can you not be slanted towards them if they pay your bread & butter?????

I’m sorry, but Walsh is pro-Ramapo Democrats for Change and Preserve Ramapo. His stories have a negative slant against Supervisor St. Lawrence, etc. He also seems to be a impatient, hot tempered reporter.

It seems to me that “insurgents” has a negative connotation being used frequently to describe the forces attacking our troops in Iraq. Living in Ramapo for the average resident is basically taxation without representation, since Mr. St Lawrence has no interest in listening to anything we have to say. Therefore, I would compare the Ramapo Democrats for Change to the revolutionary war heroes throwing off the yoke of King George. Perhaps instead of tea in the harbor, we can dump the ridiculous clocks St Lawrence wasted our money on into his swimming pool. So “Revolutionaries” is more appropriate.
