    Danny:

I am Tony Mele. You know who I am?

    Jim:

Yes, I can affirm that Rhodes was actively working against our efforts during the course of the campaign. The very reason among many was I would not participate nor partake in their rhetoric. Tina and Lynn sent out a blast email a full week prior to the election telling everyone to withdraw their support for me and Carter.

I ran on trust and smart growth as opposed to the venom. Jimmy Hyer and Rhodes conduct were behavior I repudiated to their face with the full knowledge of the PR upper echelons.
Jimmy Hyer was out at night knocking down CSL signs willfully against my instructions that NO ONE do that. Jimmy Hyer was caught by Rudy Dent handing out vote Row A flyers on election day, among other things.

Jim: I was called many derogatory names if you recall, but no one ever called me a liar.

We would have been very stupid indeed to work against the top of our own ticket! Perhaps Tony can explain our very strange alleged behavior.

Tony received a $12,000 donation from real estate interests which he kept secret from us. As far as we know he never spent the money on his own campaign. We spent $83,000 trying to get him elected and this is what we get in return.

I am only making this information public now because I am really disappointed in his behavior.

I would like to see a copy of the alleged blast email that I sent out please. Offering $1 million to anyone that can produce it!! Bring it on Anthony!

I read the replay and noticed I was accused of laundering campaign contributions. The money we gave in the last campaign was given by me, and each of my two daughters. Each of them has a legitimate interest in the future of our town. One gave over the limit because we thought we were supporting five candidates, but one had declined our support so my daughter had to take back one-fifth of her contribution.

Please explain why my contribution of $5,000 to the Julian campaign was money laundering!

Take a look at the contributions to St. Lawrence. Almost of the contributions on the record are from firms doing business with him, and the “not” required standard $135 given by many of the town’s employees. Unlike all of these folks I do not expect to get my “money’s worth” from our esteemed supervisor.

In the last campaign we collected over $50,000 in small donations from concerned citizens. They too did not contribute in order to get something from the town.

oh you guys know better than me and the rest of PR how you operate behind the scenes. Its all water under the bridge and what happened plain and simple.

You each answered your own questions in the first sentence. Tina you saw the emails when you read it, replied to it, wrote them, etc, and forwarded.

Now you both accuse me of fabrication and thieft but argue you would not work against such person.

Campaign Financial Disclosure online reports show every penny and is so transparent; They also show Friends of Anthony Mele checks paid to PR and none by PR.

Also, thanks go to Rudy Dent and army of volunteers who were oblivious to what went on behind the scenes. Give them the credit for the money they raised and all those who donated to the campaign. The gratitude belongs to them collectively.
