Nyack parking gripe

February
19

I got emailed this flyer, which I hear has been circulating around local businesses since the village board said it wanted to raise parking fines. By the way, the board is planning to meet on Thursday, Feb. 26 to continue discussion on changing parking fines. If you want to read more on this and the recent parking rate hike, click here or here.

Nyack doesnt make it easy. they count on the meters to run out quickly or have you confused as to how to pay. so they can hit you will 50 bucks. no different in Manhattan. Bloomberg has ruined getting in and out of the city. he coddles to the taxis. they should be the ones hit with fines more so than regular motorists. Bloomberg owns most of the parking lots in Manhattan. interesting huh?

meanwhile NYACK needs a few more bucks, and they make it very difficult t find parking.
