Haverstraw’s affordable housing hearing to continue Monday

After more than three hours of heated discussion, the Haverstraw village board Wednesday adjourned the public hearing for a plan to build a 26-unit affordable housing development, to be known as Murphy Manor Apartments, on Samsondale Avenue.
The hearing will be reconvened during the regular board meeting at 8 p.m. Monday at Village Hall at 40 New Main Street.
