Rockland Hispanic Police Society Holding Fund-Raising Dance

The Rockland County Police Hispanic Society is hosting the 6th annual “Salsa into the Summer” dance fundraiser on Friday  from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Nyack Seaport, 21 Burd St., Nyack.

The fund-raiser will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County.

Tickets are priced at $30 before the fund-raiser and $40 at the door.

The event will include hors d’oeuvres, beverages and latin music all night.

Formed in 1996, the Rockland Police Hispanic Society’s goals include assist police departments in diversifying their forces by considering Hispanic candidates for positions within their ranks and to raise money for educational, social programs and college scholarships.
