Okay this is gonna be a quick entry. Laptop battery is low, it's on the red. Plus, I learned from the last entry that I get nauseous typing on the bus. The movement along with the wafting smells of someone's tuna sandwich was not good.

It's always exciting when a group of rambunctious 8-year-olds pay a visit to the office, all eager to learn about the biz. And with the advances in technology, it's a particularly exciting time given print reporters now have the ability to post videos on the Web along with a slew of other multimedia options.

So … in today's paper, I wrote an article about the Rockland Center for the Arts' recent project, which had artists design skateboard decks to raise money for the nonprofit's children's programs. So you see our blog photos and I'm sure you wonder â€" agonize even â€" asking yourselves, "But what do they sound like?" OK, so maybe you don't, but thanks to the Web we've got video and audio capabilities. oh yeah.

So was eating outdoors at a cafe in Nyack Thursday, catching up with a pal, when a small and very adorable black-haired Shih Tzu snuck under our table and began sniffing at our legs.

Naturally and going along with Nyack's easy-breezy-strike-up-a -conversation-with-anyone attitude (when in Rome, right?) we started chatting with the little guy's owner â€" [...]

So got an e-mail from CJ Miller, spokeswoman for County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef, updating us on the second homeless couple who moved out of "Woods Way" â€" the plot of land between Route 59 and the New York State Thruway.
